My latest venture is to release a ring tone on iPhone called Literacy OK. The Tune is an arrangement of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to which, traditionally, the ABC is chanted. My idea is that just as birdsong enables birds to recognize each other, so those having this ring tone on their phone will enable those who know that literacy is possible for everyone to recognize each other everytime their phones ring. Additionally mums with young children can have fun chanting the ABC with their children everytime their phone rings.
